Performing Arts

Working with performers has always been a thrill for me, offering opportunities for creative license and unusual use of light that keep the job new every day. I've been photographing theatre, ballet, dance and music for 20 years.

Portraiture

People yearn for documentation of special moments in their lives, whether it's births, weddings, reunions or other rites of passage. From the very beginning of my more than two-decades-long career, I've relished these photographic opportunities. Corporate & Public Relations - Commerce takes many forms, including my photos on posters, mugs, calendars, greeting cards, T-shirts, you name it. And of course, there are the inevitable media kits.

Photojournalism

I cut my teeth as a professional photographer in high school shooting pictures for the local paper, and I have been a contributing photographer for publications nationwide ever since. My work has been published in the New York Times,Vanity Fair, American Theatre Magazine and many others.

Non-Profit & Humanitarian

Nothing is more challenging or rewarding than putting my photographic talents to use on behalf of charitble organizations. Non-profits I've worked with include East Meets West in Vietnam, Glide Memorial Church in San Francisco, and the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford University.
